Prayer For My Dogs


Lord, please bless my dogs,

for they bring such joy to me~

They ask for so little and give so much,

and their devotion is so easy to see...

I pray you keep them healthy and happy

and guide them from harm's way~

for it's so nice to look around me

and pet my blessings

each day.

My Puppies Prayer

Now I lay me down to sleep,
The kingsize bed us soft and deep.
I sleep right in the center grove,
My human being can hardly move.
I've trapped her legs,
She's tucked in tight.
And here is where I will sleep at night.
No one disturbs me or dares intrude,
Til morning comes and " I WANT MY FOOD!"
I sneak up slowly to begin,
My nibbles on my human's chin.
She wakes up quickly,
I have sharp teeth.
I'm a puppy, don't you see?
For the mornings here,
It's time to play.
I always seem to get MY way.
So thank you Lord for giving me,
This human person that I see.
The one that hugs and holds me tight,
And shares her bed with me at night.
